Mother and Baby Care for Community Health Workers
Mother and Baby Care is a guide for community health workers. It was developed alongside health workers in under-resourced and rural settings.
Working in their own study groups, community health workers can use this guide to learn how to:
- care for a mother during and after pregnancy
- help parents care for their newborn baby
- identify common problems in newborn babies
- explain the importance of exclusive breastfeeding
- understand and care for HIV-positive mothers.
